Chantilly, VA- March 2, 2021 - UNICOM Government, Inc., (UGI) a leading provider of IT solutions supporting the missions of government agencies, today announced that a leading Federal law enforcement agency has selected UGI to develop a Digital Evidence Cloud Interconnection Service.
UNICOM Government, a division of the multinational IT solution provider UNICOM Global, was selected to provide commercial cloud interconnect services for the agency’s operational technology divisions, to include regional laboratories and other entities requiring similar services. The initial phase of this project will focus on delivering network connectivity between the regional laboratories and agency headquarters. This multi-year project will then expand the connectivity to other field offices and locations operating in support of the agency.
This win adds another multi-year program in support of the agency’s mission to UGI’s portfolio. The award continues UGI’s commitment to supporting the agency’s digital transformation programs that will modernize how the agency communicates, collaborates, and manages legacy data and documents. It leverages the strengths of UGI, which has provided mission-critical, integrated systems for the government since 1983.
